Winter recreation includes cross country and downhill skiing at Diamond Peak ( 10 minutes away) or Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe ( 25 minutes away) and more than 16 other world class ski and snowboard resorts. Tahoe has the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America. Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Heavenly, and Northstar-at-Tahoe are all within a 35 - 45 minute drive. Summer recreation includes numerous water sports including sailing, game fishing, water skiing and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of this deep alpine lake.
